New partnership to improve educational environment
Rising up from the rubble

Located at the most southern tip of the West Bank, just 70 meters away from the Green Line, the Dkaika village has no electricity, no water network and lacks most other basic services. Although the village has one elementary school, the school’s ramshackle infrastructure made for a very poor educational experience for its 45 students.
Islamic Relief-Palestine and UNICEF helped by rehabilitating the school and by working to create a better educational environment for its students.
More information about the Dkaika elementary school and about UNICEF and Islamic Relief’s intervention can be found here.
