IRPAL becomes a member at Sanabel

Islamic Relief Palestine (IRPAL) has been given a membership at Sanabel - the Microfinance Network of Arab Countries. This membership was given through the efforts of the micro finance programme at IRPAL (Murabaha and Soft Loans) after submitting the required technical documents and reports.

The rewarding criteria for this membership is focused on institutions that provide financial services for owners of micro projects and institutions that work on achieving financial sustainability in addition to transparency through the commitment in applying financial information yearly to external auditors and (MBB) editorial and exchange micro financial information (MIX).

Sanabel is the first and only network designed to serve microfinance institutions in the Arab world.  Sanabel was incorporated and registered as a nonprofit organization in both Atlanta, Georgia, USA and in Cairo, Egypt where the headquarters is located. Currently Sanabel has 86 Sanabel members from 12 Arab countries; namely, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
