New lab for Geographic Information Systems
Supported by Islamic Relief UK, the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) lab was inaugurated at Islamic University of Gaza, in attendance of Dr. Kamalain Shaath, Islamic University of Gaza President, Mr. Khalid Al-Hindi, Secretary of IUG Board of Trustees, Dr. Mohammed Al-Alfy, Member of Board of Trustees of Islamic Relief, Dr. Mohmmed Alsousi, Islamic Relief Country Director and a number of the university senior members and institution's members.
Dr. Al-Alfy highlighted Islamic Relief interest to serve the Palestinian people adding that there should be a support to the educational institutions as a first basic to develop communities.
Dr. Shaath appreciates the efforts of Islamic Relief for Higher Education institutions that represent high percentage regionally and internationally.
