Increasing Capacity of Emergency ICUs

Due to the critical situation in which the health sector passes, IRPAL implemented a very important project to minimize the suffering and to improve the health services in the 13 main hospitals in the Gaza Strip with medical equipments and tools needed in the ICU/emergency departments.

Due to the critical situation in which the health sector passes, IRPAL implemented a very important project to minimize the suffering and to improve the health services in the 13 main hospitals in the Gaza Strip with medical equipments and tools needed in the ICU/emergency departments.

Increasing Capacity of Emergency and Intensive Care Units Project was designed to contribute to supporting the ICU and emergency departments in Gaza Strip hospitals. The project is carried out in order to improve ICU and emergency departments in 13 hospitals in the Gaza Strip and to help ICU and emergency departments to continue operating in all parts of the Gaza Strip.

The project included:
·         Renovating ICU and emergency departments
·         Helping ICU and emergency departments to continue operating in all parts of the Gaza Strip.
·         Improving nurses' professional performance at ICU departments.
