Child Welfare

Supporting the wellbeing of children in Palestine is a top priority for IRPAL.

Thousands of orphaned children are sponsored through IRPAL’s one-to-one sponsorship programme. By providing them with regular financial aid, the sponsorship programme assists fatherless households with limited financial means in providing for their children. The programme ensures that orphaned children have adequate food, shelter, clothing and other basic necessities.

The one-to-one sponsorship programme also organizes summer camps and provides orphans with Eid gifts, clothing, and school bags and uniforms.

IRPAL has designed and implemented other projects that support the wellbeing of children in Palestine. These include the building of psychosocial support centers in Gaza city and in northern Gaza and the rehabilitation of kindergartens in rural and marginalized areas in the West Bank.
